Wednesday, March 14: exhibition (from 4pm) and meeting (7-9pm) at the CLF Art Cafe in the Bussey Building (133 Rye Lane) about the historic centre and restoration of Peckham

Sunday March 18, Peckhamplex, a special screening at 4pm of actor-turned-director Paddy Considine’s award-winning film Tyrannosaur and star Olivia Colman (left). Colman, who lives in Peckham, will take part in a Q & A session after the show at 6pm. She recently won Best Actress at the Critics’ Circle London Film Awards, the Evening Standard Awards and British independent Film Awards "for her honest and raw role in this gritty little film". In aid of the Anthony Nolan blood cancer charity.

March 16–27 Grange Lane Group are showing at the  Jeannie Avent Gallery in North Cross Road.  There will be some 50 paintings from local artists and Ian Dejardin, director of the Dulwich Picture Gallery will be at the opening.


Monday, March 19: Renato d'Aiello is Upstairs at Ronnie Scott's wth a celebratory lineup.

Close call... The Nokia 808 Pure View launched at the Mobile World Congress in February, is a phone with a 41 megapixel camera.
